If our website includes the possibility to input your personal or business data – e.g. if you order a newsletter or write to us via the contact form – certain input fields are marked as "mandatory". With these fields, we collect only the data that is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the execution of the desired action. Of course, you can provide us with additional information.

Your personal data will only be processed for the fulfillment of the contract with you or the execution of the requested measures (e.g. answering a contact request) and for advertising purposes (please also refer to section 2). As soon as the personal data are no longer required to fulfill these purposes, they will be deleted. If statutory retention requirements exist, the data will be restricted until the expiration of the retention obligations and then deleted.

You may object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes or withdraw your consent which you gave us in this respect at any time in each case with effect for the future in writing, by fax, by E-Mail or by telephone.

This applies in particular in regard to E-Mail newsletters, for example with information about our products and our services. We only send you E-Mail newsletters if you gave us therefore your consent or if we have legitimate interests (in particular for direct marketing purposes) pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. In the event you do no longer wish to receive such information, you can unsubscribe from our E-Ma-Newsletter at any time with effect for the future either by pressing the link provided in each E-Mail-Newsletter or by contacting us via the provided contact details.

3. Transfer of personal data to third parties

Your personal data will basically only be disclosed to those persons who are involved with the processing of your request, the processing of your order and the transmission of newsletters. A transfer of personal data to third parties can take place if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract with you, of you have expressly agreed to the transfer or if the transfer is permitted by data protection law. However, only the required data will be passed on.

Categories of recipients of personal data are:

  • IT-Service for support and maintenance

In these cases, our data processing is carried out by a data processor, who is bound by our instructions and obliged according to data protection regulations and who is not allowed to use the data for any other purpose.

Under certain circumstances you are entitled to request information about the personal data stored by us, to have incorrect data corrected, or to request the deletion or freezing of your data as well as the portability of your personal data. You may object to the use of your data at any time with effect for the future. There are, however, cases where we are not allowed to delete your data in its entirety as a result of legal retention periods. We would also like to draw your attention to the possibility to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority Baden-Württemberg.

Google LLC is certified under the "EU US Privacy Shield" (can be found at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term "Google"). Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

IP-anonymisation has been activated on this website, so Google will truncate the IP-address of users in European Union member states or in other states that are parties to the European Economic Area Agreement in advance. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP-address transmitted to and truncated on one of Google's servers in the United States.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, for the purpose of compiling reports on the website activities and rendering services to the website administrator with respect to website and Internet usage. The shortened IP-address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by selecting "do not accept cookies" on your browser, however please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website.

You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie with respect to your website usage (including your IP-address) from being recorded and processed by Google by simply downloading and installing the browser plugin to disable Google Analytics available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

For browsers on mobile devices, please click on the following link: deactivate Google Analytics to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent Google Analytics from entering this site in the future. Please note that this opt-out cookie works only in this browser and only for this domain. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click the link again.

8. Google Maps

On this website we use Google Maps to visualize geographical information and to create journey descriptions. Google Maps is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

By using Google Maps, Google collects data about the use of the map functions by visitors of our website, including your IP-address, and transfers it to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. Google LLC is certified under the "EU US Privacy Shield" (can be found at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term "Google"). Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

9. YouTube

We use videos of Google's YouTube site (YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA). This is also done via the so-called "double-click" procedure. This means that you will only see a preview image on our website without establishing a connection to YouTube. Only in case you click on the respective preview image, a connection to YouTube will be established and your IP-address will be forwarded to the servers of YouTube. YouTube will be informed that our website has been visited with your IP-address. If you are logged into your YouTube account with the browser you use for visiting our website, the name of the account will also forwarded. This allows YouTube to match the visit of this website with your user account. We are not aware of the data that is collected in this way and the use of this data through YouTube.

YouTube LLC, a subsidiary of Google LLC, is certified under the "EU US Privacy Shield" (can be found at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term "Google"). Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

If you are also logged into your YouTube- or Google Account, Google may add the processed information to your account and treat it as personally identifiable information, depending on your account settings; please also have a look at Data usage by Google during your use of our partners' sites or apps.

We integrate YouTube into our website to enable you to watch videos directly on our website. By integrating external videos, we relieve our servers and can use appropriate resources elsewhere, which i.a. can increase the stability of our servers. This constitutes legitimate interests within the meaning of the relevant legal basis of Art. 6 paragraph (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
